PIPSC news

In-person union activities postponed

PIPSC in-person union activities are postponed until June 30, 2020. Some activities will be moved online. Unfortunately, some trainings have been cancelled. The Board of Directors will re-assess this decision no later than June 12, 2020.

Most PIPSC members have access to an Employee and Family Assistance Program. This program provides free and confidential counselling and referral services to you and everyone in your household. These are tough times and we all need support – we want you to use this resource.

Every worker deserves sick leave

No one should ever have to choose between their job, their health and the public interest. Our federal and provincial governments must work together to implement a uniform policy of 14 paid, job-protected sick days for all workers in Canada.
