The PIPSC National Capital Region (NCR) is organizing a webinar training on domestic violence with internationally recognized public educator and women’s rights advocate Julie Lalonde, NCR Directors Jennie Esnard and Jennifer Carr, and Rights and Freedoms Committee Chair Ray Paquette. 

The webinar will examine the realities of violence against women in Canada. Specifically, the presentation will look at how the current COVID-19 lockdown has exacerbated an already dire situation. Participants will leave with a fuller understanding of the issue while also learning concrete actions they can take to be an ally.
