A big win for union power

For the first time in Canada’s history, the right to bargain and strike was legally stripped away when Premier Ford rammed through Bill 28. CUPE education workers in Ontario, the lowest paid in the province, fought back and won. Unions demonstrated that our movement is strong, and proved what workers can achieve together against the odds.
